This page explains who publishes istanbulcaredental.com, how the information on it is produced, who is named on it, and what we will and will not publish. It applies to every article, guide and treatment page on this website.

Who publishes this website

istanbulcaredental.com is published by Istanbul Care Dental, a dental treatment clinic based in Istanbul, Türkiye. We are the clinic that provides the treatments described on this website, so these pages are written by the provider, not by an independent third party. We say so plainly because it affects how you should read them.

This website is published in English, Italian, German and Bulgarian. Where a page exists in more than one language, the same rules apply to every version of it.

What this website is, and what it is not

Everything we publish is general information about dental implants, crowns and bridges, veneers and cosmetic dentistry, orthodontics, surgical and general dentistry, and related treatments. It is not medical or dental advice, not a diagnosis, and not a treatment recommendation for any individual. No page here replaces an examination by a qualified dentist who has assessed your teeth, gums and medical history, usually with imaging. Our full disclaimer is in our Terms of Use and Content Policy.

How an article is produced

Our production process has four steps, and every published page has been through all four:

Topic and research. We choose a topic from the questions patients actually ask us, and gather what is known about it from our clinical experience and from published external sources.
Drafting. Drafts are produced with the help of AI writing tools. We use them as a drafting aid, not as a source of facts, and we disclose it here rather than leaving you to guess.
Human editing and fact checking. No AI draft is published as it arrives. A member of our team reads it, removes anything it cannot support, checks every figure and every claim against a source, and rewrites what needs rewriting. Claims we cannot source are deleted, not softened.
Attribution. Each article records a named author from our clinical or editorial team, and clinical topics also record a named clinician as reviewer. The author is shown on the article.

Who is named on our articles

Clinical articles on this website are written or reviewed by dentists working with Istanbul Care Dental:

Dr. Kaan Yıldız — implantology and oral surgery
Dr. Elif Demir — restorative and cosmetic dentistry
Dr. Selin Arslan — prosthodontics and orthodontic treatment

Non-clinical pages — for example travel, pricing structure or general guidance — may carry an editorial author rather than a clinician. Where that is the case, the clinical statements on the page are still checked by a member of the clinical team before publication.

What we will not publish

These are hard rules, not preferences:

No invented statistics, and no number attributed to an organisation that did not publish it.
No invented patient cases, invented quotes or invented testimonials.
No promise or guarantee of a particular result. Dental treatment is a clinical procedure and outcomes differ between individuals.
No before-and-after photograph presented as a typical or expected result. Each one shows an individual case at a point in time.
No qualification, membership or accreditation claimed for a clinician or for the clinic unless we hold the document behind it.
No price presented as a personal quotation. Prices published on this website are indicative starting ranges; what an individual pays depends on a treatment plan agreed after examination. See our dental price guide.

Dates, updates and corrections

Articles carry the date they were published. When we revise a page in a way that changes its meaning, we update it rather than quietly replacing it, and we do not backdate. Dental information ages — materials, techniques and prices change — so pages are revisited and refreshed. If you believe something on this website is inaccurate, out of date or misleading, please tell us; the process is set out in our Corrections Policy.

Where our facts come from
